Ahmer started out as a film technician in Bombay, going on to lead production teams by the age of 17, and directing ad-campaigns by 21.

A turn of fate led him to the non-profit sector, where for over 10 years he lead fundraising and communications teams for some of the world's best known non-profits.

In the last 8 years he has been involved with several projects, including a communications firm and a fundraising company that raises funds from individuals.

At Thinquilab, he works with partners to help them solve the jig-saw puzzle of ideas to scale.

Siddhartha started out as a young graduate and took on his first job as a fundraiser. Over the years he went on to lead teams at city, national and international levels for Greenpeace's fundraising operations spread across East/South Asia. In his next assignment he led marketing, fundraising and partnerships for an Indo-Spanish organisation and helped build the profile.

He started Fairtales with Ahmer and has built a 200 people team that brings in 50,000 donors every year, spreading the cheer to many under-priviliged lives.

At Thinquilab, he reads and understands the fine-print as much as he understands the blue-sky.

India and Bharat, almost distinct countries, economies, processes. While the Indians enjoy the fruits of the liberalised economy the Bharat-wasis are marginally benefited owing to the lack of English, technology and formalised processes.

While the Indian startup ecosystem is aflush with teams/organisations looking for product-market fit, the Bharat-wasis are focussed on markets over products. They don’t have a business plan on paper but are extremely business minded. MBA or not, but masters of their businesses. They get stuff done, everyday!

Thinquilab is an accelerator for these Bharat-wasis. We support their rugged acumen with state-of-the-art strategy, processes, communications, systems, and technology.

We aim to ensure that the Bharat-wasis have a chance at leveraging the learnings and innovations of the Indians.
